The Amazing Race is an exciting trail that will require teams to work together to overcome roadblocks and obstacles as they ‘race’ around the chosen area. However, the race is more a race of mind and intellect than a race to be the fastest.

Each checkpoint will require teams to complete a team challenge before moving on; there are questions and/or tasks to fulfil while moving from one checkpoint to another. Location and all activities are varied and provide a good mix of problem-solving type activities and fun recreational style challenges to ensure maximum participation and engagement.

Every soldier by reciting the SAF pledge affirms/reaffirms their loyalty to the country and their commitment to defend it - if necessary, with their lives! Not just the country but specifically the constitution.

This trail visits buildings that were used by the colonial power that rule Singapore until 1963. They all can be tied to important events that eventually lead to independence and delivered the base on which the nation and its constitution was created. Victoria Concert Hall and Theatre is one of them -today a place to enjoy the arts but in the past events were held that have shaped nation and our communities. Other venue are the former City Hall as well as the new Singapore Supreme Court.

Trace the history of the founding of Singapore and find out more about various significant historical sites around the civic district. During the session, you will learn more about the history of Singapore during the colonial era and recognise the need to be self-sufficient and self-reliant as a sovereign nation. This trail meanders through the birthplace of our nation. It connects different times, events and personalities with tangible artefacts that tell the story of Singapore and its people from the past, present and the fast-evolving future with its many challenges.

Discover the Bencoolen Mosque, one of Singapore's oldest and a unique sight to behold. Visit the minority Jewish community and learn about Judaism at Maghain Aboth Synagogue. The Catholic faith is present in many churches in the area, including the Church of St. Joseph. 

Hindus and Buddhists found their way into the same area, establishing places of worship that served not only their communities but everyone in need of help. All this can be seen and explored along the street that is also home to the Waterloo Street Arts Belt, where beautifully restored pre-war bungalows now house local arts organizations.
